A Forever Dog.

The following is from a blog titled "Lucky Pup Rescue," and the words just brought tears to my eyes when I read them......


I am a Forever Dog, not an "Until Dog."
I am not an:
   "until you get bored" dog....
   "until you find a boyfriend or a girlfriend" dog...
   "until I get old" dog...
   "until you have to move" dog...
   "until you have a baby" dog...
   "until you get a new puppy" dog.

I am a Forever Dog.
If you cannot promise Forever, then I am not your dog.
